Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation offers short-term rehabilitation on our newly expanded unit 7 days-a-week, up to twice a day, featuring all new state-of-the-art therapy and treatment. Our program encourages patients to function at their maximum potential and reach a comfortable level of independence as quickly as possible.
Cedar Manor’s rehabilitation unit features a variety of treatment modalities, including rehab steps and recumbent bicycle for mobility retraining, among others. Our activities of daily living kitchen enables residents to use adaptive devices to re-learn basic kitchen and daily living skills. Restorative nursing rehabilitation provides continuity of care following discharge from traditional physical and occupational therapy.
At Cedar Manor, we know that short-term rehabilitation residents are anxious to recover and return home as soon as possible. For that reason, we offer a convenient 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week admission policy.
Under the supervision of our Medical Director, physical, occupational and speech therapists establish individual goals for each resident upon admission and provide intensive treatment for rehabilitation patients working with the interdisciplinary team of professionals. Therapists are available to visit the patient’s home prior to discharge to be sure the environment is safe and accessible.
