Dear Mr. Lipperman:

There can be many factors that differentiate one nursing home from another, but the single most important one in our view is the dedication of the nursing and aide staff. We visit our sister weekly and overall are very impressed with the caring nature of the Cedar Manor staff. We especially want to express our very postive feelings concerning Ms. Darrell Anderson, who is directly in charge of our sister, Lee's care. She always goes out of her way to make Lee as comfortable as possible. Our sister is not often a willing and complying patient. It seems her progression of dementia may contribute to her displays of stubbornness when it comes to receiving the care that is important to her well-being. We have observed that our sister can be quite combative at times. "Andie", as we have come to know her, always displays remarkable patience, and in her resourceful way, employs strategies that seem to get the best results. We are very grateful to have someone as skilled and caring as "Andie" looking after our sister. She impresses us as one who takes a sincere interest in our sister's welfare. To us she is a very special person!

Yours sincerely.
