Dear Mr. Lipperman,
My mother, IS, recently was a patient at Cedar Manor, after she fell and fractured her pelvis at home. She was given very good care by your facility and wants to acknowledge some of your staff members that made her stay as plesant as it could be, under her circumstances.
There were several nurses who helped her on a regular basis, on the east wing. She was there in November and part of December 2015. The two nurses that my mother thought did a outstanding job are Mercedes and Joseph. They were very responsive to her needs, however small or large her request may have been. The aides on the East Wing were excellent and my mother appreciated all of their assistance.
In addition, Andrea her OT, and Alex her PT, were very good working with her and helping her realize she was able to do more than she thought she could. They were a large part of why we were able to write this letter today from my mother's home instead of still being in a rehab facility. My family appreciates your staff working so hard with my mother and for helping her get back to where she was before she fell. She told Alex that she wanted to go home on her 92nd birthday and she was able to accomplish this and for that we are grateful!
Please make sure you pass along our thanks to all of your staff from my mother. I hope that my mother does not have to visit your facility again but we will recommend it to anyone who may need to receive rehabilitation.
