Mr. Gary Lipperman, Administrator
Cedar Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
32 Cedar Lane
Ossining, NY 10562
Dear Mr. Lipperman and Supervisors,
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional welcome and outstanding rehabilitation services I received during my stay at Cedar Manor from September 10 to October 20. I'm especially greatful to all in the Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Department - notably Megan Johnson and Andrea Bento for all their skill and patience in rebuilding my bones and confidence and all the other therapists who substituted now and then. I need to say a special word of thanks to Arlo Tani (not sure of his last name), whose medical knowledge, and positive, kindly, ever pleasant joyous spirit kept everyone and everything moving along like we were all one family.
I tried to learn the names of all the nurses and aides who rotated around the clock providing consistent care and was struck by the international character of your staff. Thanks to the Activities people, Food Service, and Housekeeping who never missed a beat performing their duties.
It takes a lot of planning and ingenuity to keep everything working together to meet the diverse goals of Cedar Manor. Thank you for providing this with kindness and such a good spirit.
May the Healer of all wounds bless each of you and all your staff. I can never thank you enough for what you did for me , and - not that I wouldn't want to spend time with you again - I am trying hard to stay on my feet.
Sister J. B., MM
